Tonia Antoniazzi MP is inviting beauty businesses across Gower to take part in a special promotional campaign to celebrate British Beauty Week 2025, running from 20–26 October.

Tonia will be showcasing local salons, spas, nail bars, barbers, and wellness businesses on her Facebook and Instagram pages, hoping to boost their business awareness and highlighting their contribution to the community and the local economy.

“I’m always proud to support the incredible small businesses that make Gower such a vibrant place to live and work,” said Tonia. “Beauty businesses are at the heart of our high streets. There are so many great boutiques, barbers and salons on our high streets that help people feel confident, cared for, and connected. This is an industry that is 86% female owned, and I’ve met so many formidable, passionate women running these businesses, and they deserve to be celebrated.”

“I wanted to use this year’s British Beauty Week to shine a light on the creativity and skill that defines our local beauty industry. Hopefully you might find a hidden gem or discover a new local favourite place to pamper yourself!”

Businesses interested in being featured are asked to send their business name, opening hours, a photo of the business (inside or outside), and a short sentence about what the business does, what makes it special, and where people can find it to [email protected].

The campaign will run throughout British Beauty Week, with posts going live from Monday 21 October and businesses are encouraged to submit their details by throughout the week.
