October 31st is nearly upon us; the time of year kids will have been looking forward to for months as a fun opportunity to dress up, scare the neighbours and collect treats. Understandably parents and community groups will be scaling back their Halloween plans this year due to coronavirus, but I don’t think that means children should miss out on the festivities completely. As we head into our first winter as a country shaped by Coronavirus, I think it’s important that those of us who appreciate a good fright continue to enjoy the fun in a covid safe way. That’s why I’ve compiled a short list of tips and ideas that you can share with your friends, family, and community groups on how to make the most of this year’s Halloween.
