I am calling on the Conservative Government to sign up to this campaign and sign off on the Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon, a project that would deliver the infrastructure investment, jobs, and renewable future that my constituency of Gower needs.
The Government's own report called on the project to be sign off 'as soon as realistically possible', and reports have stated that their reluctance to sign it off is harming the project. Staff working on it have been cut to four day weeks as investor money dwindles.
We can't let this once in a generation opportunity be scuppered by the government inaction.
