The Welsh Government have announced that alert level 4 restrictions will continue to be in place across Wales for a further 3 weeks.
Although the number of people with coronavirus admitted to hospital is starting to stabilise, the NHS is still under significant pressure. The advice for people who are extremely clinically vulnerable – the shielded group – not to go to work or school outside the home is also being extended to March 31. In some positive news, from tomorrow (30th January), two people from different households can exercise outdoors together. It was also announced that, if infections continue to fall, children could return to school after half-term – from 22 February – starting with the youngest children in our primary schools.
